Busy parents needs easy, healthy meal options to prepare for their little ones. Here's a simple baby food recipe that's yummy, easy to prepare, and very nutritious!

Sweet Potato Baby Food Recipe 


4 oz sweet potato, chopped into small pieces 
1 cup water


Place sweet potato and water into a pot and bring it to boil. Let it boil around 15 minutes, or until it's nice and soft. If there is too much water, let it boil a bit longer. If there isn't enough water, add a bit more. 

Although the boiling will make it quite soft, you might need to mash it up a bit to make it as smooth as you want. For an extra silky smooth consistency, use a blender or food processor to blend it up. 

For easy future meals, make an extra large batch and store the extra in the freezer. When you need more, simply take out a container and de-thaw it in the microwave. This is an easy way to cut down on food preparation times during the week.
